Welcome to Cardiff Canoe Club::
On these pages we intend to tell you a little of who we are and what we do. We are a small friendly club of about 50 members catering for all levels of canoeing and kayaking ability. We meet on Tuesday evenings at Splott Swimming Pool in Cardiff and new members are always welcome. We currently have members with interests in White Water Paddling, White Water Racing, Surfing, Sea Kayaking, Rodeo, Coaching and Open Canadians.

Counter to popular rumour it is not compulsory to own a campervan to become a member. However, if you do own one you will find yourself with many new friends, all promising that they haven't really got smelly feet. The club organises many away trips to rivers in North Wales, West Wales, Dartmoor and various beaches around the country as well as running the local rivers. Most years some of the club head off to the Alps (French or Austrian) for paddling in warmer climes.

Extra Pool Sessions
Ian R
9- -0, 2004
There is a second pool session running during September, on Wednesday evenings from 9.15pm to 10.00pm.

It's aimed at adults and intermediates who want to do their own thing (i.e. we don't plan to do any coaching at these sessions).

If we want to keep these sessions going, we need to average at least a dozen people in the pool, so don't just think about it, turn up!
