Welcome to Cardiff Canoe Club:: On
these pages we intend to tell you a little of who we are and what we
do. We are a small friendly club of about 50 members catering for all
levels of canoeing and kayaking ability. We meet on Tuesday evenings at
Splott Swimming Pool in Cardiff and new members are always welcome. We
currently have members with interests in White Water Paddling, White
Water Racing, Surfing, Sea Kayaking, Rodeo, Coaching and Open Canadians.
Counter to popular rumour it is not compulsory to
own a campervan to become a member. However, if you do own one you will
find yourself with many new friends, all promising that they haven't
really got smelly feet. The club organises many away trips to rivers in
North Wales, West Wales, Dartmoor and various beaches around the country
as well as running the local rivers. Most years some of the club head
off to the Alps (French or Austrian) for paddling in warmer climes.

there is enough support I would like to do a session every 1-2 weeks on a
Monday or Friday and a couple of weekend trips to Nene, Nottingham and
the Trywer... | | read moreĀ» |
